The Aurelia Nuoto sports club was founded in 1976 by sports enthusiasts aquatic and former swimming champions, united by the common goal of spreading and to develop swimming sports with the competitive practice of the various disciplines of swimming.
The company is in fact a point of reference throughout Italy for:

For over 30 years the Aurelia athletes I am swimming at the top of the charts national swimming pools e synchronized swimming, at the last Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 6 athletes called up with the Italian national team and our Rachele Bruni wins the silver in the 10 km in open water!
Today more than 800 athletes Yes train at our facilities reporting excellent results.
Aurelia Nuoto has achieved more than 20 absolute national titles since 1976 and more than 100 in the youth sector.
The plant in via Pasquale Baffi has been open since 1986 with excellent results in all swimming disciplines.

The Aurelia Nuoto sports structure has followed and follows great champions such as Alessia Filippi, Gianni Minervini, Stefano Battistelli, Francesco Postiglione, Livia Copariu, Simone Ercoli, Luca Belfiore, Andrea Mitchell D'Arrigo, Viviana Susin, Simona Ricciardi, Cristina Chiuso, Giada Galizi, Giusi Patanè, I swim), Mara Brunetti, Elisa Bozzo, Giorgio Minisini, Manila Flamini, Mariangela Perrupato (Sincro), Fabrizio Momoni, Cristina Tarantino and Alessandro Tiberti (Master), Federico Pinotti, Germano Proietti (Salvamento), Stefano Rubaudo (Fondo).
Famous actors such as Raoul Bova and Kim Rossi Stuart trained at the Aurelia Nuoto swimming pool with excellent results in national competitions.
Aurelia Nuoto boasts athletes participations and successes at the Athens Olympics and at the European Championships in Budapest. Precisely during the European Championships in Budapest, Aurelia Nuoto applauded her athlete Alessia Filippi who achieved the gold medal in the 400 mixed medals with the Italian record and the bronze medal in the 200 mixed medals, reached with another Italian record. In 2009 at the world championships in Rome, Alessia amazed everyone with a 1500 sl with the time of 15.44.93 earning the gold medal!

In the current season we have had great results from all the competitive teams.
At a youth level in our nurseries it has been an extraordinary season, we have had excellent results in all categories both at a regional and national level, we have more and more certainties from our children who are now a golden generation.

The achievement of a dream: to reach the top of the national rankings and win the Italian team championship for two consecutive years with the "small company" founded in 1976, together with my brother Luigi and his friend Antonio De Pascale, with the "modest" purpose of spreading a healthy sporting culture among the inhabitants of the Aurelio district.
